why isnt aim in our instant mesing folder with msn and yahoo? anyone use aim on their bb?

Yes you can use.
Its needs to be installed, thats why its not there.

I understand that part thanks but Im looking for facts, not assumptions
Just trying to confirm the answer was no as a 3rd party IM. At least thats what I gather from all the forums

No, the BES can't do it on its own, but a good administrator can still monitor you. Now, hopefully this will be factual and clear enough for you: Unless your company has specifically authorized you to use your device for personal communications, you shouldn't use it for those purposes. Many companies provide for stiff penalties (up to and including termination) for violating IT policies.

The best advice I can give is to use your work device for work communications ONLY. If you wish to use a BlackBerry for personal communications, purchase your own.

Also, please do not bump old threads with posts that are not related to the original topic.
