Default Error message 0x8004fceb when syncing

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I keep getting Error message 28332511 when syncing my Tour to Outlook. It seems to occur when it is syncing the Calendar. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

What is the real error - "Error message 0x8004fceb" or "Error message 28332511"?

Let's start with the obvious. Have you done a battery pull? Reinstall DM?

What version of DM are you using?

OS on your PC?

Assuming that you are syncing with Outlook, what version of Outlook?

Are you connected directly into the PC or via a HUB (BB's do not like HUBs).

You probably need to roll back to desktop manager 4.2 SP2 or SP3. Not sure where the cutoff is, but the newer desktop manager versions don't work with the older Outlook versions. Your error message may be something else, of course, so you may have another issue going on. But you will also probably have to downgrade your desktop manager.

I'm having the same problem with Outlook 2007 and DM v5.0.1.

I, too, am getting the 0x8004cfeb ErrorMessage: only, this time when I am trying to complete Synch'ing with my OfficeSystem using LotusNotes.
I only Synch with LotusNotes' Calendar here, & ReSynch with OutLook 2007 on my HomeOffice Machine .....
is this asking too much for DM 5.0.1 ??
