Question Selecting Contacts to Sync...Impossible?

Is it possible to select which contacts you would like to sync from Outlook to BB and vice versa?

Yes, assign a category to the contacts you want to sync, such as Blackberry, then in the contact sync in intellisync options create a filter to sync only contacts that contain that category. Works great, I've been using it every since I got my 1st. BB.

Hope this helps.

I want to grab a contact from Outlook, so I wrote Blackberry in the contacts Notes section, then applied a filter that says it should grab Notes that Contain 'Blackberry', but it's not working.

I don't know about filtering on the notes field, but the Outlook Category field works fine for this. Did you try this?

Added: Was your Sync filter for the notes field in the Contacts sync option, or for the Notes sync Option?

Hope this helps.

I have that very same quesiton. I see you can set up filters for E-mail when doing a wireless BES sync, but not for calendar, contacts, etc.

It seems odd this function worked OK (when wired) but went away when the new (wireless sync) stuff came out.

Anyone?
