Hi, I have a 8900 Curve and i'm having trouble running any Java based programes. I can't view any Java bits and bobs through the web browser (both BB Browser and Opera Mini). I've changed it from 'Blackberry' to 'Internet Explorer' to 'Firefox'. I've got 'Support JavaScript' ticked.

When I try and intall a .JAR file I get 907 Invaild JAR Error!: control flow verification information too large: c

But thats on any .JAR file I try and install, no matter how small (if size really does have anying to do with it)

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you asking about Java or Javascript? They are two different things.

Too be honest I don't know, but when I goto (for instance)

.javatester.org/version

It tells me I don't have Java - no matter what browser version i'm running.

Sorry if i'm not being clear or giving the wrong information, but I don't know what else to say.

All I do know is that when I had a £60 Motorola I could install 3rd party Java programs and view 'Java things' on websites - right out of the box, no problem.
