I have been having this problem since a re-profile on the machine took place!
When trying to initially configure the syncronization options the DM tries to connect to the internet and this is where it fails - the message displayed is saying please connect to the internet blah blah - I am!!?
We have 30+ users and all are working apart from one so it is nothing to do with the central firewall/protection with ports or access being blocked.
I have added the DM to the exceptions list within the PC's firewall - no joy & have tried with the firewall off altogether, again no joy!
Tried various versions of the DM - no joy?
This is a stupid problem and seems to be quite common yet no upgrades etc seem to rectify or help point in the direction of a solution?
Is there a tried and tested solution to this problem that anyone knows about?
