Will Orange Curve 8900 work with O2?

Hi, I have a Blackberry Curve 8900 that is with Orange. I want to sell it to a friend who is with O2. Will it work simply by them putting their SIM into it? Thanks, Tim

No, it's as I got it from Orange. Needs unlocking huh? Do I just go to some dodgy shop on the high street or is it do-able oneself?
