Default HELP! Tethering BB to XBOX for XBOX LIVE

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I would like to tether my BB to my Xbox so that I may use Xbox live. This IS possible. Theres just a few issues.

I've found this very comprehensive tutorial on how to do it here: A Website for the Older Gamer - 2old2play - Using ATTxxx39;s 3g for Xbox Live

However, my issue is that I am using a MacBook Pro, BUT, I also have Windows 7 installed on this MacBook Pro.

Therefore I need either instructions for MAC OSX or Windows 7.

Can anyone help?!

Can you tell me how to bridge? My friend was trying to explain it. He took my ethernet cable, cut it open and crossed some wires and said that I would be able to bridge.

The reason why I need to do this is I live in an area where we do not have high speed, only dial up. Tethering is the only way I can get internet.

you dont xover the cable you use a cat 5 cable not a cross over cable. in windows where it shows network connections you hight light 2, right click then select bridge connection.

and the blackberry connected to the pc can go online i am correct to assume this.

i just picked my wifi card and the ethernet port to show, you should the ethernet port and the dialup you made.
