How do i get rid of a signature on email replies? I want it on new emails but not on every reply. I feel like such a fool for asking what appears to be a simple answer...thanks.

I don't think you can. See what others say.

You can remove the signature from your BIS account. Create an auto-text entry on your BB for a signature and insert it when you want it.

wait....I'm on a BES - if I delete my signature in my message options it also removes the sig from new replies right? Still seems odd that you can't tell it to only add in for new messages.

Don't use the automated signature.

In the Autotext section of Options, create an autotext that creates your sig for you when you type something like "*sig".

That said, you really should have something in your automatic signature that indicates you sent the message from a mobile device. Messages sent from mobile devices tend to be shorter in length, and the recipient(s) may confuse the brevity for rudeness or lack of education.

I do a combination of both. I have my auto signature for every message say "! - Sent from a mobile device - !", and then my one in autotext has my real signature.
