Angry Trying to find/download email client to sync with BB

Please Login to Remove!

I do not have Outlook Express or Outlook. I need something to sync with my Blackberry. I'm on Vista

When I go to the Microsoft site they direct to Windows Live Messenger as the only option.
I went to Openoffice.org but couldn't figure out what to do.
Would love some detailed/step by step help please.
Thank you

Go to blackberryfaq.com and read the articles under BIS/BES and the articles on email.

Long story short, the blackberry does not sync email with an email client.

But read those articles and get your bearings so you'll understand the basics. You'll know what your options are after that.

BlackberryCurve8900, I edited my post above after seeing tsac's post.

You will not be able to sync email with an email client, which is what I believe you are asking.

You can sync calendar, contacts, notes, tasks with several different applications as addressed at that link in tsac's post using Desktop Manager. Outlook is the most common, and probably the most seamless with the blackberry. But you can also sync with Yahoo.

Instructions for downloading Desktop Manger are at blackberryfaq.com.

Maybe between the two of us, tsac, we put the OP on track to find the answer to what he wants to do.

OK..to clarify. I have Desktop Manager but I cannot sync because I only have Windows Mail. I'd like to sync contacts and calendar mainly. Please clarify what I need to do (for example, I wnt to BBFAQs and still haven't found what I need to read. Sorry, but, I'm kinda hopeless in this department.

Ok , so if I get this right your just trying to sync the contacts and calendar. Unfortunately you will need to have one of the listed programs that the DM will interface with. a couple of free One’s listed are;

Windows® Contacts
Yahoo!® Mail

Once you set one of these up you will be able to connect to DM and sync your information. Yahoo has both contacts, calendar and email so maybe you can start there.
