Default emails recieved from a blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All

I am getting emails in my Yahoo mailbox. They are very abusive and threatening. I have viewed the full header and can see someone has sent this using a blackberry.

Does anyone know is the mobile number of the phone visible in the header?

Well, if you can view the full header (as you have stated) then you will be able to see whether or not the mobile number is visible in the header (wouldn't you?).

But the answer is no.

If you are being threatened via email, you should contact your local police.

Wirelessly posted (8820)

Ditto re contacting the police.

Print out the messages and full headers. Don't delete from your blackberry. Backup the blackberry.

The headers contain all the information needed to trace back to the originator including email ID, IP address, date and time.

Call the police.

To get the info on who sent the emails you need to involve the police. It has to be an official investigation in order for the ISP to surrender the into. Plus contacting the police is just plain smart.
