Im new to blackberry and I am unable to browse the internet, at the moment I have a wired home connection but when I try to use the

hotspot browser on my new bold 9700 it says this is a wifi service and wont let me access the internet via my mobile network plan. dont see any other browser on the handset can someone help?

If you want the standard browser you simply must have a BlackBerry data plan. Your WiFi problems sound like something is not configured properly, either on your home network or on your BB. Before getting your hotspot browser to connect, you have to have the WiFi network enabled on your Bold with any WEP key saved.

got everything sorted, I had to have my network activate blackberry settings. Noob question but now sorted and loving my bold 9700
