There is no best blackberry. There is no best smart phone,

Start with the carrier (service provider). Which provides service where you live, work and travel.

Decide what functions and features you need. What are your must haves. What are your nice to haves.

Compare the mobile devices at the carriers you are considering. Which device best meets your must haves and good to haves? The device that is best for you is the best device.

t mobile,vodafone,02, orange etc all cover my area all the uk providors.

erm
i just need good texting , not really predictive texts, good phone calls service, facebook, internet etc. would be nice 2 have some good games and apps, suppose with the internet can get all that.
i fancy the curve 8900 or the storm 2, mainly storm 2
i would want least 400 mins, unlimited texts, and internet, aswell as the bb data plan.

All blackberrys provide the same essential blackberry functionality. They differ in various features such as keyboard, camera, gps, wi-fi...

But nobody can do your research for you.

Why do you want a blackberry? (That is for you to answer for yourself.)

Beware, blackberrys are different. So many new members come to the forum expecting to be able to do something they used to do with their Nokio or their WinMo or their Palm device. They are severely disapponted to find that, no, the blackberry doesn't do that, or not in the same way.
I want you to look before you leap.

Did you even read any of this thread? The same info applies to any "Which is better/best?" question. Use the same selection process mentioned above.

If you want others to do your homework for you then at least clearly state what you need/want. Otherwise, it's impossible to give you a meaningful reply. This applies to anything -- not just BB's.
