Default Possible to sync recurring events from Google Calendar as recurring events on device?

Please Login to Remove!

I currently have Google Calendar set up with all my friends' birthdays in my main calendar. I want to get all this information onto my BlackBerry calendar so that I can reference it in such a way that I can find out what day of the week their birthday fell on last year or a couple of years back. They are already set up as recurring events in Google Calendar. With Google Sync on BlackBerry, it looks like it's limited to 24 weeks ahead and 4 weeks back from the day you sync. Is there any way to get it so that recurring events like birthdays stay on the BlackBerry even after a sync? So for example if someone's birthday was 12/10/1978, Google Sync would put 12/10 on the BlackBerry as a recurring event from the year 1978 all the way to the present and future?

Add their birthdays into their contacts in your BB. There is a section for Birthdays which will add them to your calendar.

That's what I had originally... but doing that would create duplicates, one from Google and one from the device's default. I guess I forgot to mention that I wanted to keep everything connected with Google so that I can sort of have a central location.
