Default Mysterious avatars showing up

Please Login to Remove!

I have the Curve 8310 and recently these weird looking avatars have shown up in my pictures folder, marked as "contacts". I've had this same device for a year and they were never there before. I'd like to at the very least move them to my memory card, but they're on the device memory. I can't move them or delete them! I have no idea where this came from or how it happened. Anybody have any ideas??

They are pictures for your contacts, standard defaults as it were.
Came with my Bold.
Not sure why they would suddenly appear though.

Yeah, that's the things that puzzles me. If they had always been there, that would be one thing, but they just showed up one morning. They have the little lock symbols by them so I can't do a darn thing with them. I hate for it to take up space on my device. Is there any way to get around this?

If you haven't upgraded your OS lately, I am guessing they "might" have been pushed by the carrier, to go with the BBMessenger 5? I dunno.

If you have upgraded the OS lately, perhaps they are also in the cod file with the preinstalled wallpapers.

Could they have come from Facebook? Man, that Facebook is practically a virus!

Wirelessly posted

JSanders, actually I recently upgraded the BB Messenger AND reloaded my OS. I had accidentally deleted the preloaded themes, so that's why I did that. As a matter if fact, you may have been the one that helped me with it. Got any real specific instructions of how to find those avatar things & how to get rid of them??
