Default Emails go to Blackberry but not Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

On occasions, emails sent to me show up on my Blackberry but do not show up on my Outlook. Most of the time, all of my emails show up on my Blackberry and in my Outlook.

When I go to the my email providers webmail page I can find the email that do not show up on Outlook. I have talked with the ISP, and they say that it is the Blackberry that is causing the problem. Is there a setting in the Blackberry that sends a message that an email has been received?

Has anyone experienced this? and if so, has anyone found a fix?

Welcome to the forum.

Is this a personal device (using BIS only) or is it connected to a company BB server?

It is not connected to a BB server. The email account is a company account that resides on an ISP's email server. I normally access the emails using Outlook 2007. On occasions, while away from the office, I will see that I have an email on my Blackberry (Curve 8330). Then when I get to work it will not show up on Outlook, while other emails do show up on both.

If I log onto the ISP's email server, using the webmail application, the subject emial will be there.

Sounds like an Outlook 2007 issue if it shows on the ISP email server and the BB.

Got any filters or rules set in 2007?

If you want the mail both places set you BB and Outlook to leave a copy on the server. BB mail polls for mail every 15 minutes. This way if you goto Outlook before the mail is sent to the BB is will remain there and also be sent to the BB or vise versa. Then delete mails on the BB and choose to delete on handheld and on the server after you have a copy in Outlook.

Both Outlook and BB are set to leave a copy on the server. The emails remain on the server, I know because I can open the webmail interface and see them. The ISP says that they have all of their filters turned off. I have some rules set in Outlook, but none of them are set to delete emails. The rule only move emails to other folders.
