Default not deleting off BB

Please Login to Remove!

I have trawled through hundreds of the FAQ and cannot find an answer to the following.

i have a user who is using a BB Bold ( BES). When he deletes off his pc it is not replicating on his Bold even though the device is set to delete on both,. Any ideas greatly appreciated

How, exactly, is the message being deleted from the desktop mailbox? Is it being hard-deleted? If so, is Hard Delete Reconciliation enabled on your BES?

Yes hard delete but doesnt happen on this device,. I f I do it on my storm and then do a reconcile now it works immediatly!

Is it being hard-deleted? - yes
If so, is Hard Delete Reconciliation enabled on your BES?>I am sure it is - however where abouts on the BES would this be set?

OK, so your first two responses conflict with eachother.
Pressing Delete in Outlook is not hard-deleting. You need to clarify how the delete is being done.

Does the deleted message appear in the Deleted Items folder in Outlook?

What version and SP is your BES?

The message is being deleted by pressing delete, sorry if I am not too clear.
The message then goes into the deleted items on the pc, however still stays in the in box on the Blackberry. If I replicate the same on my BB then it deletes on both
We are currently on BES version 4.1.6.10

How long are you waiting for the item to be removed from the handheld? (It won't happen immediately.)
Does doing a 'Reconcile Now' on the handheld remove the message?
Are you using Cached Mode in Outlook on the PC?

The user has been told about the "15 minute rule" and waits that long but to no avail. He has also done a reconcile now but still staying in his device. He is using a desktop and our desktops at work are set not to use the Cache mode unlike on the laptops .
