Default Found a BlackBerry, Would like to return to owner

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all.

Found what looks to be a pretty new BlackBerry last night on the street. I considered trying to make it my own, but it's Verizon and I have AT&T. Anyway, I think I'd feel better if I at least tried to find the owner.

It has a password lock on it. Obviously I don't know what that is.

Any options for me to find the owner?

Good move on your part ! Thanks from those of us who have been there. Take it to a corp store or turn it in to the local police.

And please update your profile. It shows 7100 and Verizon and in your post, you aid you have ATT.

I picked a random model because I came on here solely to post this.

Thank you for the advice. If I turn it in to a store, will they be able to track down the owner?

They should. Find a corporate store.

No owner data on the lock screen?

For others, I suggest entering some contact info via Options->Owner as that will display on the lock screen. A corporate store should be able to get a device back to its owner but note use of the word "should".
