Default Strange Blackberry Messenger 4.6 issue - help please

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I recently upgraded my Blackberry software to 4.6 where BB messenger is also 4.6 now. Cant remember what edition it was before.

However, before the upgrade... when I select "copy history" of a conversation and paste it to an email/notepad or something, I was able to view the whole conversation I have had with that specific person since the first initiation of chat. i.e. conversation since i added them to bbm.

Now with the upgrade to 4.6, I can only view the current history that is shown in the active conversation screen. Nothing older comes up.

Any one know the issue behind this please?

I have a bold 9000 and it seems the active conversation screen is pretty short. i had a look at my friend's curve and their conversation with me goes back a few days, whereas i can only scroll up to the message that was sent today for example. any one know why my friends active conversation screen is showing a longer history?

Thanks!!

Based on the info at Rim the 4.6 version does copy the conversation but does not indicate back history on current conversations.

Copy a conversation
When you copy a conversation, you can paste it into other BlackBerry® device applications.
1. In BlackBerry® Messenger, during a conversation, press the Menu key.
2. Click Copy History.

And how do i do that?
