Default Question about an unl****ed phone

If I were to buy an unlocked 7105t from a different service provider, would verizon activate it for me?

I do not think so. I believe the Verizone network is a CDMA network while the T-Mobile network is GSM/GPRS. Although the units are similar, the technology behind them is different.

I could be wrong, perhaps someone else can chime in.

Aguyindallas is 100% correct. The 7105t will only work on GSM based networks (T-Mobile and Cingular). If you want the 71xx form factor with Verizon, you will need to get a 7130e, which is very nice...

What other providers have CDMA networks? So I could have different options regarding the models.

You have your choice of Sprint or Verizon. Your choice of models is extremely limited - 7250 or 7130e. That's all folks...
