Question I need help please -bbm

Please Login to Remove!

So I upgraded to the 5. something bbm and have used it just fine. No problems. Loved it. Today I got an alert from the app world that there is a newer version and stupid me went to download it. Well I really regret it now because my bb is acting up. The hourglass is always on the screen. It took forever to install, had to reboot a million times, finnally it asked me if i want to replace like it always does, i clicked yes and it got stuck..for like half an hour. Tried rebooting *battery pull--- now my bbm is GONE! I went and hooked it to my desktop manager and tried readding the bbm app and it told me a fatal error occured. Again the hourglass is on there and the phone is supppper slow. I tried to go to the desktop manager again and the bbm app is not even on the list then it gave me a brief mesage on the app world that its archived on my sdcard. I have no idea how to get to it. I went back to the app and reinstall and it gets stuck. I tried going back to the app world , deleted it off the list and the reinstalled. It took forever and now its stuck on installing. Im so mad I should have just left it alone. I don't know what else to do..I just need my bb back to normal!!!

Have you looked at the threads today or the news? There is a BB outage in the US and Canada. Could be the problem.

I don't know why, but for some reason the outtage wasn't effecting the users at my work on edge. All the 3g users with blackberries and iphones could not do a thing yesterday.

sillyc77, it is bad form to hijack another's thread, especially when your post has nothing to do with the OP's problem.

Please start another thread identifying your problem and someone will be glad to help.

Also, it is not a good idea to use your email address as your user name. There are many bots traversing the forum from time to time looking to harverst email addresses and yours it out there for the picking.

Closing this thread.
