Default Forgive me users for I have sinned...

Please Login to Remove!

2 years ago I was married to a BlackBerry device. It was a match made in heaven and for better (Curve 8330 w/ OS 5) or worse (BPS - need I say more) I have been faithful unto my BB.

I must confess, for the last week I have been having a torrid affair with a Moto droid. After a week of lust, I feel the need for an annulment with BlackBerry. Honestly, I was blindsided and did not see this coming. My faithful BlackBerry was so much a part of me I thought we would be together forever. I have had no desire for any other devices and the affair began so innocently. We spent a few hours together, the first evening getting to know each other, it was strictly business. The more I became familiar with Moto droid, the more I enjoyed Moto's company. Even though droid was only a demo device, the days to follow brought me more joy and excitement. I have finally given in, a commitment to Moto droid. My new Moto droid will not be delivered until next week and I vow to remain civil to the BlackBerry that I will carry until that time.

I will not completely remove the BlackBerry from my life as I will continue to maintain the BPS server and the soon to be annulled device will be faithfully given over to its new user whom I am sure will take great care and exhibit the BlackBerry sense of pride that comes with ownership.

Sinfully yours,

Kenjunior

Love it

I hope you give the BlackBerry an adequate alimony package....

Annulment is such a drastic and permanent move. Why not just fool around with Droid behind BlackBerry's back until your absolutely sure. and I'm pretty sure there will be more fair-skinned temptresses that will come along, with new tricks that you've never experienced before. and after the euphoria has passed you may just end up back with your beloved BlackBerry with regrets of the weakness of the flesh.

In the spirit of the Season, do penance and help out your local food bank or shelter. Any help is always needed and appreciated and no deed is too meek or extravagant.

The annul'd phone will only be going across the hall to the finance manager. In which I will still maintain full visitation rights and all maintence required.

ken, you can't annul something once the relationship has been consummated. I really don't want to know IF or HOW you might have done that.

TMI.

When you come back, I suggest flowers, candy, and the appropriate level of groveling. The good news is that BlackBerrys are incredibly forgiving. I too have strayed in the past, but I've always been warmly welcomed back into the fold.

I fear you will soon discover the Droid is like the buxom 22-year old trophy girlfriend. Fun to play with, but when you begin to take the relationship farther than a mere flirtation and good time, you will discover she's sorely lacking in other areas. And I'm sorry to inform you that the Droid's pedigree is that of a trailer park. It is a Motorola product after all.

When I got the Palm Pre I held out almost 3 weeks. Of course I was a wreck by then and ran - not walked, RAN - to a Sprint store to buy an 8330m.

Haha pedigree is that of the trailer park!

Best and most accurate comment ever.

It's like that trailer park girl, you know she's bad news, you know you shouldn't go running around with her...

Oh I don't know. I just switched to a Droid as well. But I figure I'll be back to the Blackberry within six months (or when Verizon has a new Blackberry out). And I didn't give it up completely since I still have my work Blackberry.
