Wife has a Bold 9000. She wants to remove password protection, but there is a little red lock next to "Enable" and it won't allow me to disable. Its BIS, so what am I missing?

Sounds like it was on a BES at one time and has a password policy on it. If this is the case, follow the attached to remove the policy and start fresh. Please let us know if that is not the case.

If only used for BIS (and not connected to a corporate BB server) you can remove the IT Policy that is enforcing the lock here:

Thanks, all. Worked like a charm. Of course if the Mrs watched while I wss doing it, she'd freak at about the time the word "wipe" came out... All worked fine!
