Not quite sure how you can accidentally wipe out the OS, but just try installing it and you should be ok. See the OS sticky for your phone at the top of the 8300 subforum for the latest OS and instructions.

Well my friend, I am afraid that you have lost every bit of your contacts. Blackberry claims that its devices are more secure. So if deleted data could be recovered from Blackberry device then it could be very common practice to recover other peoples private data after purchasing their used devices.

It always advice our customers to regularly take backup of their device once or twice a week.

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Walk me thru how you wipe your device while playing with network settings, they are on totally opposite sides of the options menu

If you don't have a backup you are out of luck. And if you don't sync contacts and calendar, etc with either Outlook, Google, or one of the other supported applications, then you are out of luck there as well.

Kinda tough to wipe it all from the network connections menu however.

I don't understand how one can accidently wipe their berry either but sorry to say if you haven't been doing regular backups via DM you are out of luck.
