I'm a new user to Blackberry and would like to know if there is a way to password protect memos or maybe just hide it somehow?

You can hide the icon. Highlight it, press Menu button, then click Hide from the menu.

If you turn off 'dial from homescreen' in the Phone Options, then you can use the shortcut key to get into it and not have to unhide it when you need it.

EDIT: Or you can do what I do and put seekrit stuff in the notes field of Password Keeper entries. That's what I did with my family's Christmas list this year.

Christmas list? Better turn on content protection at strongest too and make it double super seekrit.
