You need THE BlackBerry Data Plan from your mobile provider.

Call your carrier. I think ONLY Orange provides the BlackBerry Data Plan on a PAYGO account.

No you don't have free internet on the BlackBerry.

Vodafone does not offer a PAYGO BlackBerry Data Plan.

Trust me, you can't get around it, quit trying. You can't just go "download something".

eh, if you could download it, then you wouldn't be posting questions here, right, since your internet access is non-existent?

Yep, easy to sort our with one phone call. They'll tell you that you might have to wait for the plan activation to show up on your account, and they might say "up to 24 hours, blah blah blah...", but the reality is that it usually happens within an hour.

But you will need to get something other than a PAYGO voice plan to also get BB data. Can't have voice from one and data from another.

Why (or how) you phoned blackberry im not sure.
You phone your carrier (network) Vodafone.

You have free internet, but this does not apply to a blackberry, because they require a Blackberry data plan.
You need to be on a contract plan, to get a blackberry data plan with vodafone.
You will not get internet access on a Blackberry, on PAYG from vodafone.
