Is there anyway to change the handheld email address? This is the address tied with my blackberry pin. I can change all other email stuff just can't seem to do handheld.

There are a couple of ways. Find a Blackberry that doesn't have a BWC/BIS email tied to it and transfer the email yourself or call your carrier and have them release it.

Are you asking about changing the address from which your emails appear to be sent (ie. Emails you send from the handheld look like they have been sent from your work address)?

Or, are you asking about the address assigned to you by your carrier (ie. username@carrier.blackberry.net)?

The first may be changed through a setting within the BIS Website. To change the second you will have to have your PIN/ESN removed from your existing BIS account (your carrier's customer service dept can do this) and then register a new BIS username. The "@carrier.blackberry.net" will remain the same.

What if your name changed from Jane Doe to Jane Smith? Couldn't the provider just changed the email name from to for you and associate that new addy to the PIN/EMEI?
