does the new Desktop Manager for Mac work with the default device software of the 8707g?

My BB takes about 2 hours to reboot. And then it doesn't stay on for very long. I would want all things set for my backup as soon as it restarts. So I can't turn it on now just to check my software version.

Any idea if the 2 work together?

And anyone else out there with 8707g issues with electrical/power supply? The technician told me it's grounded and the ground caused my battery to swell.

If your battery has swelled, replace it IMMEDIATELY! It's definitely causing some of your problems. Get a legit BlackBerry battery, not some cheap-o Chinese knockoff.

Mac DM works with the 8707g, just like it does with the newer BB's.
