Please Login to Remove!

A friend of mine wants to get a blackberry but he doesn't know which one to get. I suggested he should get a bold 9700. what do you suggest

I suggest your friend does his own research and chooses the one that suits his needs the best.

Also you should have your friend chose the carrier that best suits their needs first, then chose the BlackBerry for that carrier.

I'm developing the opinion that anyone who has to ask doesn't really need a blackberry.

Except I stumbled onto a blackberry myself and it was the best thing I ever did.

Ditto to what the other's have said. Choose the carrier first. Decide what features are must haves. Then pick the device that best meets those needs.

And one more thing: Advise your friend to be aware of the costs? A blackberry without blackberry data service may be a severe dissappointment to your friend if he doesn't know ahead of time and finds it is too costly.

Your friend should get the 7105t. Rock solid, and it's older, proven technology. Who needs a camera anyway?

Nah... An 87XX. Also rock solid, faster, and you can see the display outdoors in sunlight.
