I somehow deleted my 'Text Messenger Icon' from by Blackberry Bold. Does anyone know how i can get it back again? Thanks in advance. Ben.

I think it might be hidden and not deleted. The first thing to check is if the BlackBerry Messenger icon is just hidden.
To show all items go to the application screen (the one with all the icons) and press the menu button and select "Show All".
If you can see the icon just highlight it and press the menu button and unselect Hide.
If the application isn't present it may have been or accidently removed.
To restore the Messenger application you have to download the firmware and install it onto a PC running BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Then from Application Loader you need to select the BlackBerry Messenger application so it will be installed.

Ignore this... All wrong...

On the main screen, hit menu, and then menu again. The menu will show up on the left. Click on show all.

Look for the sms icon...

If its there, move it where you want and unhide it.


If it isn't there, go to the messages (email) icon. Once in there, hit menu, and go to options, then general. Where is shows "sms and email" make sure they are set to seperate.



This should fix your problem. Post back with results
