Default Fed up with the Facebook app so...

Please Login to Remove!

... I decided to try the Facebook mobile site again. It's got more features (though not pretty) than it used to have and is fast compared with the awful FB app than turns my BB 9700 into a slug during and for minutes after I use that app. And the app is so slooowww to respond.

Anyway, I noticed on the FB mobile site there's a link to another app that just puts a shortcut to the FB mobile site on your BB home screen, but it prompts permission to involk the browser every time. Anyone know if there's a permission I can grant this app (and which permission is it - OS 5 on my BB) to avoid the prompt? This app comes from getjar.com

Have you tried Snaptu? It's pretty basic but seems to load Facebook and Twitter feeds quickly. It handles photos well and you can reply and post your status.
