I just had to include that sentence to comply with university ethics. Apparently you are classed as a vulnerable respondent group because of your age and since anyone who has access to the internet can take the survey I have to discourage people under 18 not to complete it.

But thank you very much for completing my survey!

In other words, I was not supposed to take the survey, but my results will be counted? I don't understand.

Yes. It's my first time using survey monkey so when I'm finished collecting rsponses I'll see if there is a way to remove your results. As I can't tell who has filled out my survey I'm not sure if this will be possible though.

I don't have an "Institutional Review Board". It's my dissertation so I can choose how to collect my sample respondents, as long as I don't question vulnerable people (i.e under 18, the mentally ill, homeless etc) it should be ok. Obviously there are disadvantages and advantages to my method but those will be discussed in my paper.

Done.

One recommendation or consideration. On questions like the one below, I have normally seen the ranking the other way around so the most important is 1. I'm not sure if that's a US/UK difference, but it's something to note. I had filled it in that way then read the question again. If I hadn't re-read the question, the ranking would be exactly reverse of what I intended. If your results seem weird, it could be many people filled it backward.

"2. Please rate the following items according to their importance to you, with 6=most important and 1=least important so that each number is assigned to a different answer."

I absolutely agree. The scale is backwards. In any case, an interesting survey. Here's to good grade!

I dont think it matters. You can contact forum sites if it stipulated. Although, I agree my experience is working with doctoral students in US

This is geared toward personal purchases. Suggestion: you should differentiate between users who purchase their own BBs vs those that are given to them by an employer. Both of mine are office hand-me-downs.

Yes that is a possibility for further research, however my reasearch study has specific reasearch objectives to satisfy. In the time frame given it would be unrealistic to investigate lots of different aspects.
Thank you for filling out my survey, I still need 50 more responses!!
