Blackberry Messenger Icon lost

I have lost the Messenger Icon, I downloaded the new version but it is still missing, How can I recover it?

First make sure it's not hidden or in a folder (like Downloads). Then try downloading it again. This happened to me a time or 2 and re-downloading/installing it did the trick.
