Happy New Year everyone!

[I have a blackberry pearl 8100)

After a fairly wild night last night, I awoke to the dismay of a damaged blackberry screen.

Now, clarification: The screen is NOT CRACKED. There is merely a bit of discolouration on part of it. The way I can describe this discolouration is that it's fairly unnoticable but if I tilt the blackberry to any which angle a noticable bit of "darkness" is visible, a faint kind of greyish black.

This hasn't altered anything on the screen, everything is showing up as it should, it's just bothering me because I know that it is damaged now.

My question to you is: Has this happened to you? Do you know what the cause of this damage is, and do you know if it will progress into damage that isn't only aesthetic (as in internal damage that wont let me use the blackberry)?

All responses would be greatly appreciated!

Ok so you have no idea what happened so I will guess it got wet. Pull the battery and place it in a bag with un-cooked rice so it will absorb the liquid. Just hope itxxx8217;s not booze and the alcohol damages the workings. Donxxx8217;t push it, leave it in for at least 24-48 hours.
