Default 8329 won't turn on despite battery removal - red light for 3 secs! Please help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

I hope someone can help - my blackberry had been just fine, and then yesterday just switched itself off. I tried taking the battery out for 30 secs and then putting it back in - all I get is the red light on the top right corner glowing for around 3 secs and then nothing.
I tried to charge it overnight but it didn't registger it was actually charging.
I've tried taking out the sim card and the media card - no joy.
Every 1o times I try I sometimes get a flash of the loading screen but only for a second. Is there anything I can do to try and make it work again?

Thank you so much in advance!

First of all, what blackberry is an 8329?? It sounds really neat...

Try plugging it into a pc and running the desktop manager software

Your battery is dead, or at least doesn't have sufficient charge. Charge your BB for an hour, then try to turn on. When your battery gets too low, the red light is all you'll get.

8329? did you buy it on the internet? How long did it work? It may be a fake or maybe you mis-typed . did you load any new applications?

The possibilitys

1 Bad battery
2 Bad App
3 corrupted Os

If the first two are not the issue. search for JL_Cmdr in this forum and read how to replace the OS.
