Default Repeat Notifications...

Please Login to Remove!

Am I the only person that is annoyed that they removed the repeat notification option from sound profiles? I just replaced my Treo 650 due to stability issues with a 8700c. I used to have several different Blackberry models before the Treo and they all had the repeat notification. I see they still have it for the LED but I need them for system notifications from our servers. Anyone found a way around this?

I've replaced my 650 with an 8700c also (for stability reasons as well)...have you found anything to make the alerts on the BB better?

I've seen people post that Notifire does it.

In my experience, the repeat notification option only allows you to have the LED flash or not. It won't have the handheld make noise continuously, unlike many phones can do. This is on the 7230, 7510, 7520, and 7100i.

But Notifier looks interesting and for $20 it isn't a big deal.

Notifire doesn't... Not yet anyway.

But I know for a fact that Message Alert (from Webmessenger) does. It's actually called "Snooze" on their software.... But it does exactly what you want... You set it up for 1, 5, 10 or 30 minutes and your Blackbberry will repeat the alert (audio, vibrate, popup message) until you manually dismiss it.

Works great for me.
