Default Got a refurb BB 8900 from T-mobile how do I set up email?

Please Login to Remove!

I got a refurb phone from T-Mobile since my other BB8900 track ball was sticking.

I restored all my stuff using Black Berry Desktop Manager.

I noticed I am not getting any emails so I want to delete and reenter my emails.

When I go to "email setup" on the phone it says. "I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server"

I want to add a private email. I do not has BIS.

It also wont let me log into MSN.

Any help???

You will not get the option to set up personal email without a BlackBerry Data Plan.

Did you have one on your old device?

If you did, you need to log in to the carrier's BIS and use the "Change Device" option.

Why doesnt this refurb phone allow me to enter my yahoo and gmail emails??

Also I when i try to log into MSN Messenger it says "Service not enabled for this handheld"

I might be onto something.

I logged on to t-mobile email manager online.

This is what came up.

"Your account is currently configured to use device with PIN XXXXXXX.
Would you like to switch to the device with PIN XXXXXXX?"

I will see what happens when I hit "yes".

Um, that would be BIS. TMO's BIS is "integrated" into their web site (as you found).
