BlackBerry Curve Images

Question regarding people with a curve..
When you're taking a picture, it stores it as IMG0001, IMG0002, and keeps counting
Do the images saved on your memory card count seperately as the ones saved on your phone memory?
Example, you normally save all your pictures that you take to your memory card. You're on IMG0234 or whatever.
Your memory card gets full, so you save a picture you take to your phone memory for the first time. Would it be IMG0001, or IMG0235?

If someone could try it and let me know I'd really appreciate it. I don't have access to one right now and I'm trying to think of something I could write and need to know. Thanks a lot

Each photo is stored by consecutive number reguardless of where. You can simply rename them when you move them to a PC.
