I have the new Blackberry curve. As I understand it, it is possible to have pandora play over bluetooth to an outside device. I have a Pioneer AVIC Z2 in car. Does anyone know if it is possible to play Pandora over the bluetooth to the stereo?

Yes, it is. I am doing it with my BlackBerry Visor Mount Speakerphone.

You do have to go into the Pandora Options and allow Bluetooth for it to actually play, though.

I have a curve 8330 and a JVC unit in my car with bluetooth. It works perfectly. You just need to pair the two devices and also allow bluetooth connection in the Pandora menu. I set my phone to automatically connect to the JVC unit and when I start the radio on the phone, it automatically goes to the the car stereo if it is on. With stereo sound. I use Slacker radio and I play it through my car stereo via bluetooth too. I have basic control of my phone media player through the stereo buttons via bluetooth.

still not working in my car. My phone is paired with the unit and the phone bluetooth works fine. I get in my car fire up pandora and then go into the pandora menu and allow for bluetooth. The pandora will then become muted. It does not play over the car stereo though.

What source option do you have your radio when you have the pandora playing? My radio will still play but no pandora. When using the phone option it will just mute out the radio during the phone call. It does not mute when I start up pandora.

Are you sure your Pioneer device allows for FM transmission? I don't see that in the manual.

My speakerphone device has to pick a frequency and will tell me what frequency (i.e., 102.5) I need to tune it to in order to hear Pandora. Otherwise I hear nothing from Pandora.

Elito-I'm about to buy a JVC car stereo and I have a Blackberry 8330 also. Is there a wire to connect them that I can buy. I have no idea what Pandora is, and although I have Bluetooth capability, I'm not sure how to use that either! Any ideas?
