In a previous post I had asked whether any users could assist in telling me how I might access information about my data useage on the unlimited o2 UK Data plan (240mbs limit per month.)
In addition to this question (Indeed a completely new question in itself and therefore a valid new thread) I would like to know how other carriers inform users about there data useage (Feel free to expand on O2's system if you wish which would be very much appreciated though, as this is a new post, it is not exactly what I am asking)

Sprint will show you your current data usage as part of your online monthly bill. You can also send a text message to some of the U.S. carriers using a special number and they will (almost) immediately send you back your minutes used, data used, or some other statistic relating to your account. T-Mobile is great with this texting feature, and I do believe Sprint offers it as well. Never used it myself with Sprint (my current carrier) as I have the unlimited plan. :-)

Also with Sprint, you can log onto the Sprint website and into your account during your bill cycle and see your current usage.

The same is true with AT&T, though there may be a lag of up to 48 hours for current usage. (Read: it's there, but it may not be current.)

Carrier browser for Rogers takes you to the Rogers Mall which when clicking on the My Account link takes you to Mobile Self Serve. You can view data and minute usage there.
It seems you want to know about your carrier specifically, I doubt it will be much help hearing how carriers in the US and Canada allow their subscribers to check their usage. You may want to call O2 and ask them what features they have for this.
