Default External Speaker quit working

Please Login to Remove!

Hello I have a blackberry pearl 8100 and the external speaker has quit working. The headphone jack works just fine when playing recordings, and music. Ive ran the diagnostics test, and rebooting the phone and reseting the sim card and battery. I have only had the phone for about a month now and was purchased brand new. I have run out of ideas. If anyone can give any helpful suggestions it would be greatly appreciated thank you.

This is a known issue. Read this info. It applies to any carrier not just T-Mobile.
The basic direction suggested by RIM is to reload the OS after checking other options.
