Default 4.1 handheld OS

Please Login to Remove!

Is the 4.1 OS mainly being released on newer handhelds? I've been looking for updates from various ISPs and can't find much past the 4.0.x.x.x.x.

I read a KB article on blackberry.com indicating that sent messages can be hidden from showing up on a handheld. The users in my company HATE the fact that when they send a message from their outlook client, the sent mail shows up on the handheld. The KB article states how to hide the messages, but only if your device OS is 4.1 or above. Does anyone know the availability of this update for any ISP, or is this just wishful thinking on my part?

You dont need 4.1 to fix that problem, its just easier...

Messages > Options > Email Settings > Press Scroll Wheel, select Folder Redirection > Uncheck Sent folder.

As Doug said, you can stop the BB from showing mail sent from Outlook - the functionality in OS 4.1 allows you to hide sent items that are sent from the BB.

If the mail is being sent from the Outlook client, you don't even need 4.1 -- This works under OS 4.0 too (at least it does on 4.0.0.219)

Does anyone think this will release anytime soon for other handhelds?
