I have a company owned Blackberry. I need to log on with a password
to use both my email and phone. I have heard there is a way I can use
the Blackberry without the emails being monitored by my network

No. You can't.

If you are on a BES, your administrator can monitor pretty much everything.

Trying to circumvent company rules and the IT policy on the device can be grounds for termination in many firms. They have the right to make and enforce the policies especially if it their data and they are paying the bills.

My advice is to leave it well enough alone. If you are rally adamant, then talk to the IT Staff and/or BES Admin. And if you feel the need for personal email, contacts, calendar, phone calles, etc. then get your own personal device. You will be much safer that way and won't have to worry about it.

This is an odd question to me. Even if you didn't have a BlackBerry, they could monitor your emails via the company email server. The email monitoring has nothing to do with the BlackBerry.

Good advice from DubDub. Just use the device for work. If you want a device for personal use get another.
Its not worth losing your job.
