Default Default to "Inbox"?

Is there a way to have the Blackberry default to Inbox instead of the top root folder? This way I only see my other messages when I want to.

There is no Inbox. The BlackBerry has one Messages folder, where everything is shown. You have to use filters to show specific messages (ALT I for incoming; ALT O for outgoing). They are all in one folder. There is no Inbox.

Anyone know of apps that will let you have folders? Kinda like chatter for the palm.

Ok, so is there a way to set the default view to Incoming Only? I've never found it, at least up to the 4.02 level. I can set the Calendar view to Agenda, but if the Incoming as Default is an option, it's not obvious. This is one of the most requested features. Back in the 3.x days I asked RIM about it and they said it wasn't an option. I didn't know if anything changed.

In OS 4.1 message options you can hide Sent and Filed messages. Basically it will only show incoming/inbox messages.

Other than the "hide sent" and "hide filed" there's no way to do this.

Also note that "hide filed" is only pertaining to messages that you file on the handheld. If your exchange server autmagically (love that word) filters emails into sub folders and you have those set to redirect to the blackberry, they will show up as an incoming message in the general messages list.
