The Desktop Manager software that comes with the blackberry - it can make a backup of the device and then restore?

I noticed that during the restore it was not successful in restoring some options and etc...

so it's not a true image, and restore... (like PC's Acronis True Image...)

is there any other option?

( I want to test something ( BlackBerry Tour 9630 makes videos w/o sound?! :'( ) without any extra applications installed... )

Are you on a BES?

Applications must support the syncing protocol for a Desktop Manager or BES backup to make a copy of the data.

Making an "image" and restoring is not really supported by consumer tools.
