I've just purchased a Blackberry Curve 8520 from Orange. I signed up for the Blackberry internet too.

4 hours later and I still haven't got an internet connection. Any reason why? Can someone help me out?

Do I need to activate it on the internet?

Services sometimes take up to 48 hours to become active. Your best resource for a question like this is your provider, Orange. Please contact their call center if your service does not become active in the next 44 hours.

Also, please correct your profile to say "Orange" for your carrier instead of "whatlol".
