My wife uses a brand new 8330 curve from Sprint. She uses Gmail only for her email and I have it setup on her device and set to IMAP within Gmail. She is getting email but when she tries to reply to an email she isn't given the option to send, only save draft and full menu. I've logged into her BIS account and sent service books but only before pulling battery (didn't work) and a register now through HRT.
If re-registering and a battery pull doesn't work, you might try deleting the email account, close out BIS and then log in again and then add the gmail account once more.

No BES has ever been associated with this device or her. I also tried that with no luck.
I have BB 9000 with ATT & I use Gmail as main account but I don't have mine set as IMAP. I use the Gmail app to check my mail & I can reply using either way.
Why do you have it set for IMAP?
