Default How do I stop email from opening when BB is pulled from holster?

Please Login to Remove!

i've got an 8520, and i find this really annoying when i pull my phone from the holster, it auto opens the messages. i cant find an option to turn this off, help!

You wait 15-20 seconds before removing from the holster.

Do what JSanders says. There is no setting to change this behavior. It's just the way BB's are designed to work.

Messages > Options > General Options > Auto Open Newest Message After Removing Device From Holster = Never

(Might require handheld OS 5.0)

I know that setting is available on OS5, the problem is that the OP is likely not on OS 5, yet on the 8520.

What OS does the 8520 have? I have this option on my Tour with 4.7 OS.

I think even the Storms on OS 4.7 didn't have that option. I honestly don't recall right now.
