I bought a blackberry pearl from somebody on Craiglist for $40 bucks. How do I put it to work? I don't know anything about the blackberry. I have another cellphone that is AT&T. Is there any way I can put the SIM card of my AT&T cellphone into the BLACKBERRY? HELP PLEASE

It is AllTell. Somebody sold it to me, I was wondering if there's a way I can unlock it and switch to AT&T or something and if it's legal to do so. Or is there anyway to introduce the simcard of my current cellphone on the blackberry I just bought? Also, I'm a foreign student in america and I want to be able to use it when I finish my studies and go back home, Is it possible that I use the blackberry on my home coutnry too?

Alltel BlackBerrys use the CDMA network. AT&T use GSM. The two are not compatible. You can only use that BB on the Alltel network (unless you can convince Verizon to use it on theirs). See it back.

I would call the local Verizon office and ask if they can add the Blackberry for service.
If they can, you will have to add a data plan to a voice plan. Verizon will not allow users to have a Blackberry on their network without a data plan.
Cricket, a pay as you go provider, will actually flash the phone software and add devices to their network, but you wont get Blackberry mail or other features.
