Default Possible for BB to reflect Outlook opened/read status auto

One of my users asked me how they can get a BB to reflect when they've already read an email on their Outlook. We are using 4.0 BES and 4 OS.

Don't know that one, or rather, haven't paid attention. I know it works in the other direction, i.e. things I've read on the BB show as having been read in Lookout.

Default Email Status BES

I believe it does work in both directions, but it seems slower when reconciling from Outlook to BB than in the other direction (I think I have seen this discussed in another post).
