okay i dont know if im in the right place but yeh. .?
i just got my blackberry 8900 and im experiencing difficulties with my email. its not linked with my hotmail account (GRR!) i downloaded thunderbird so i could 'put emails on the server' (i tried outlook but got confused) because i got an email on blackberry telling me to do that. . and it hasnt worked. i have also wondered how to get this blackberry enterprise thingy password as that is not activated, so im guessing that has something to do with it? i tried going onto o2email website to get it but it said i cant use the computer to do it but i have no idea what to do on my blackberry? ? ? ?!! i rang up o2 but they shut at 8 and the lady just told me they cant tell me the password, it comes in email. I AM SO CONFUSED. :(

Blackberry Enterprise is ONLY needed if you have access to a BES.
a server that you get emails from, i.e company or work.

And if you read the email that was sent, it reads "IF you use an email client (eg. Microsoft Outlook or ...." you need to be sure it is set to "Leave Copy on the Server".

If you do NOT use an email client, then your issue is not related to having or not having Outlook or Thunderbird.
